Job Summary

The Network Specialist - Provider Recruiter is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding high-quality behavioral health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, full-time counselors, and onsite counselors to support ComPsych’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and behavioral health services. This role applies critical thinking and strategic talent acquisition practices to build and maintain a robust provider network aligned with organizational goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Implement a range of traditional and creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage both active and passive behavioral health providers, ensuring a strong pipeline for ComPsych’s EAP network
  • Recruit psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, full-time counselors, and onsite counselors for ComPsych’s EAP and behavioral health services.
  • Lead and execute international recruitment efforts for behavioral health providers, contributing to ComPsych’s global expansion and ensuring alignment with regional requirements
  • Assess provider credentials, experience, and fit to ensure alignment with ComPsych’s standards and client needs
  • Negotiate provider rates in accordance with company policies and market considerations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of behavioral health industry trends and network demands.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support network expansion initiatives and ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create recruiting and sourcing strategies
  • Conduct interviews over the phone and via Zoom/Teams
  • Educate and coach managers on behavioral interviewing techniques and recruitment processes
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends in provider recruitment and recommend process enhancements to improve turnover and strengthen overall provider networks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn networking; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Provider Networks, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through on tasks to completion
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Energetic and solution-oriented with strong critical thinking, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • High level of organization with excellent time management and follow-up abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet daily performance targets and productivity goals
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and coach hiring managers.
  • Self-starter with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong organization, project management skills and attention to detail.

 

Other Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise is required
  • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer

  • The pay range for this position is $21.42 USD/Hourly.  The pay range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
