Job Summary

This position is ideal for a Product Manager who values excellence and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a key member of the Product Team, this role is responsible for the strategy and execution of the organization’s integration platform, treating APIs as a core product that supports Behavioral Health and Absence Management operations, sales, customer success, and technology teams. The Product Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality, user-centered solutions that drive business outcomes while working independently and in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. This role reports to the Product Lead and offers the opportunity to work alongside high-performing colleagues while continuously expanding professional expertise.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy: Act as a product leader (contributing to strategy, requirements, and the roadmap) for ComPsych’s platform and API integrations.
    • Lead workshops and other cross functional exercises to explore product opportunities.
    • Articulate a compelling product vision and inspire cross-functional teams to rally around it.
    • Engage with customers and lending product thought leadership in support of further product development, customer success, and business development activities
  • Technical Product Ownership: Synthesize market needs into technical product requirements and drive alignment with leadership on prioritization for the roadmap.
  • Business Case Rigor: Define the value of every integration. Calculate ROI based on operational time saved or strategic business value to justify engineering investment.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead technical discovery workshops with external partners and internal stakeholders to define use cases, data payloads, security protocols, and authentication methods.
  • Backlog Management: Own, manage, and prioritize the integration backlog (including writing stories, mitigating risks, prioritizing effectively, and unblocking the team).
  • Developer Experience: Own the quality of API documentation and integration guides. Ensure that our internal and external partners have the “How-To” materials that they need to self-serve.
  • Enablement: Enable customer-facing teams with product knowledge and direction; equip the Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success Teams with needed to sell and deploy our connectivity solutions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and compliant documentation within all departmental and company systems, following established policies and procedures and ensure confidentiality
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product management or technical product ownership
    • Preferred: 1+ year specifically managing integrations, developer platforms, or B2B SaaS products
  • Technical Literacy: Demonstrated ability to read and draft basic API specifications. Should be comfortable using tools, such as Postman, to test endpoints and verify data payloads independently
  • Deep Technical Acumen and demonstrated ability partnering with Engineering
  • Execution Rigor: Experience writing detailed stories, managing and prioritizing backlog health, and delivering with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to problem-solving and prioritization
  • Ambiguity Tolerance: Experience working in an ambiguous and Agile development environment; ability to build processes where none exists
  • Influence: Ability to drive initiatives forward with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Implementation, Engineering) without formal authority
  • Excellent organizational skills, highly self-motivated, and dependable
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Quick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated multi-tasking and critical thinking skills to meet established timeframes

Other Requirements

  • Consistent and reliable high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption, or noise is required
  • Ability to be present on camera during work-related trainings, meetings, and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods while working on a computer

  • The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 plus. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
