Job Summary

The Senior Corporate Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization.  The role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies and ensure a seamless candidate experience.  The Sr. Corporate Recruiter plays a key role in promoting the company’s employer brand.  Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition.

 

This is a hybrid role and interested candidates must be able to commute to our Chicago office as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all corporate openings
  • Partner with hiring managers and executive leadership to develop interview guides, profiles, and job descriptions
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create recruiting and sourcing strategies
  • Utilize standard and creative sourcing strategies to identify active and passive talent
  • Conduct interviews over the phone, zoom and in-person
  • Manage background verifications and reference check process
  • Lead post interview debriefs with the interview teams and candidates
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding corporate recruiting trends
  • Educate and coach managers on behavioral interviewing techniques and process
  • Administer job posting processes aligned with existing protocols
  • Lead and provide guidance to junior corporate recruiter; this includes training, providing interview feedback, and manage requisition distribution
  • Ensure company brand is effectively being promoted
  • Extend and negotiate job offers
  • Close out candidates who aren’t selected in a timely manner
  • Provide ad hoc recruitment reports to management
  • Recruit for non-corporate roles, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • BA/BS required
  • 7+ years of experience with full life-cycle corporate recruiting in a corporate environment
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring passive candidates through cold calling, name generation, networking, etc.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn networking; experience with LinkedIn Recruiter required
  • Ability to establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills; demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to details
  • Understanding of legal and compliance issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Stable work history required
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model - remote & in office as needed

Other Requirements:

  • Must have high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption or noise
  • Ability to be on camera when attending work related trainings, meetings and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at desk for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer

  • The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $130,000 annually. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, and scheduled hours.
