Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity in the large and growing segment of healthcare and well-being. As a senior member of the ComPsych software engineering team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. You will use your QA expertise to lead and manage a team through quality assurance efforts on projects critical to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who proposes solutions, follows a disciplined approach, and has a “team attitude”. The QA Manager will operate as an integral part of a high-performing technical team and will be expected to clearly communicate project status to management, recruit skilled professional to the team, foster a collaborative work environment and keep the current with the latest testing methodologies and technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish testing priorities and coordinate testing activities to ensure deadlines are met, and business requirements and objectives are satisfied
  • Coordinate and communicate QA cycles with development managers and Product Managers
  • Develop and oversee the quality standards for test plans and test cases for feature, regression, and load testing of software releases developed by the QA team members
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure test cases are aligned with requirements and design specifications
  • Define key performance indicators to provide insights in the quality of deliverables, the efficiency of the testing processes, and overall project status
  • Lead and manage the QA team in planning and delegation of testing efforts
  • Review tests and test scripts for completeness and accuracy
  • Verify business applications and services meet specified requirements
  • Present testing status to management and facilitate acceptance testing with stakeholders 
  • Organize, manage, and expand QA knowledge base 
  • Lead automation of end-to-end test case development using automation tools
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in QA methodologies  
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Experience verifying deliverables from numerous full lifecycle software development projects
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with 4+ years in a Senior or Lead QA Analyst role
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Proficient in test case design and execution
  • Experience with testing web applications, mobile applications and/or experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of relational databases along with development and data modeling experience is highly desirable
  • Proficient in test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Browserstack, Cypress, Protractor, Selenium, and JMeter
