Job Summary

The Absence Management Product Lead will be a key member of the Product team. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our product(s), including strategy, roadmap, feature definition, and execution. Your role will serve as the bridge between our Absence Management operations, sales, customer success, and technology teams, ensuring that we deliver best-in-class solutions that meet user needs and drive business outcomes. Primary Responsibilities

  • Product thought leader on your business unit including strategy, requirements, prioritization, and the roadmap
  • Own and manage the product backlog including writing stories, mitigating risk, prioritizing effectively, and unblocking the team
  • Develop strategy, perform market research, and execute on product partnerships with other companies
  • Lead, manage, and develop Product Management team members with varying levels of experience
  • Provide input to support workforce and staff planning
  • Synthesize market needs into product requirements and drive alignment with leadership on prioritization for the roadmap
  • Lead workshops and other cross functional exercises to explore product opportunities
  • Own the product roadmap for your business unit and execute with cross functional teams to deliver on it
  • Articulate a compelling product vision and inspire cross-functional teams to rally around it
  • Mentor and foster the development of best practices within the Product Management team and direct reports
  • Enable customer-facing teams with product knowledge and direction
  • Engage with customers and lending product thought leadership in support of further product development, customer success, and BD activities
  • Enable highest leverage work for yourself and others
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ year managing a team of direct reports
  • Deep technical acumen and demonstrated ability partnering with Engineering
  • Experience writing detailed stories, managing and prioritizing backlog health, and delivering with cross functional teams
  • Excels at systems-level thinking
  • Analytical and data driven approach to problem solving
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward with influence and a collaborative working style

  • The salary range for this position is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00. Salary will be based on years of experience, skills, and geographic location
