Job Summary

As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for credentialing/re-credentialing provider files, which includes data entry, contacting providers, obtaining missing application information and report generation.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and complete credentialing/re-credentialing files submitted to ComPsych
  • Contact providers, by phone or mail, to request missing information
  • Complete credentialing/re-credentialing process on submitted files within designated timeframes
  • Appropriately identify "red flag" files and route files for resolution
  • Perform queries on designated providers to obtain written reports, review for incidents within designated timeframes
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Data entry experience
  • Ability to multi-task; great organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Superior communication skills
