Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Quality is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and execution of ComPsych's Absence quality programs. This role provides leadership and oversight to the Absence Quality team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the achievement of exceptional customer satisfaction. The Senior Manager will be instrumental in building and maintaining a customer-defined quality program, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of quality excellence across the organization. This role has a significant impact on ComPsych's operational performance, customer relationships, and overall success.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Direction:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with ComPsych's overall business objectives and reflects customer expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Provide leadership direction, and mentorship to the Quality team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends and best practices in quality management, and incorporate them into ComPsych's quality programs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, operations leaders, and client representatives, to ensure alignment on quality goals and initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality programs and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Work closely with operations and other departments to translate customer insights into actionable quality improvements.
  • Define and communicate quality standards and expectations, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the customer-defined quality program, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee the design, assessment, implementation, and administration of complex quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., DOL) and contractual obligations (e.g., performance guarantees).
  • Provide oversight of all customer survey analytics, identifying trends and insights to drive quality improvements.
  • Monitor the Performance Guarantee process to proactively identify risks and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor reported imperfections and proactively identify and escalate trends as well as work toward a resolution to avoid further imperfections.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in quality management, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing quality programs.
  • 5 years of experience in a management role, with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
