Job Summary

The Absence Employee Communications Partner will have ownership and oversight for cataloguing, creating, and governing AbsenceResources Employee Communications. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a consistent and clear voice across materials as well as ensuring communications meet all compliance requirements. Effective communication with our clients and customers is crucial in our organization’s success. You will build cross-functional partnerships within the organization and ensure excellent service experience for our customers. This position will report to the Program Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross functional leaders to understand business goals and develop effective solutions to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance while meeting business needs.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert when engages directly with our customers to provide consultation around the employee user experience, communication compliance, and customization capabilities in support of best servicing  our customers employees.
  • Maintain clear and complete knowledge of business communications structure and processes, makes recommendations to improve efficiencies or productivity and implements recommendations
  • Build and maintain a content catalogue for Employee Communications
  • Provide consultations and input into additional materials (customer facing, marketing, website, employee flyers) that drive service engagement or impact/describe employee experience
  • Develop and drive processes around quality control, compliance, change management and documentation for any new or modified communication materials.
  • Ensure that communication materials appeal to a wide variety of end users, and are up to date , consistent, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations as well as departmental protocols
  • Gain and demonstrate proficiency in the internal system, including understanding how it automates letter generation and the impact it has on content, formatting, and personalization
  • Build our Business Requirements for communication changes and participate in process for IT deployment including completing User Acceptance Testing
  • Effectively communicate progress by reporting on achievements, encountered barriers, and resulting outcomes for assigned projects and initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in Absence,  Benefits, or other regulatory industry or experience building and maintaining communications or resource library
  • Superior communication and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and networking abilities, with a track record of building successful partnerships
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 20%
