Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity in the large and growing segment of healthcare and well-being. As a member of the ComPsych Reporting development team, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and friendly work environment. In the role of Reporting and Analytics Development Manager you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable reporting and analytics systems and processes. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient reporting, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and Manage Reporting and Analytics Systems: Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and the development team to design, implement, and maintain comprehensive reporting and analytics systems that meet organizational needs.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of reporting and analytics developers, fostering collaboration, high performance, and professional growth.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest reporting tools and technologies to enhance reporting capabilities.  Ensure best practices are being used to build robust and scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with stakeholders to support their needs and be the voice of the customer internally. Effectively communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders across the business, IT, and leadership.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce processes that ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all delivered solutions.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Interpret and analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Identify and implement performance optimizations to ensure the scalability and responsiveness of the reporting and analytics solutions.

Job Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in data reporting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and database management systems (Oracle/SQL Server).  Experienced with embedded visualizations as well as Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake/Databricks). Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment, while delivering with quality and on-time. 
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
