The Business Systems Analyst defines the requirements and computer solutions to resolve business-related problems and meet strategic organizational goals. This individual serves a role in the design, implementation and support of new and existing applications.

• Identifies, defines, records and communicates user and functional requirements for necessary software, data storage and retention, or workflow and business process changes.
• Performs investigational analysis and evaluation to determine project or application feasibility.
• Develops cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth, including the development of alternatives and recommendations for new acquisitions or changes to existing applications or equipment.
• Prepares and maintains documentation, including procedures, system specifications, technical documentation, computer training materials and user manuals in compliance with legal and regulatory authorities and records management best practices.
• Conducts end-user training, as needed, for assigned applications.
• Ability to prioritize independently, multiple requests and system requirements to meet the organizational goals.

• A degree in business systems, computing or related field or combination of education and experience is necessary.
• Approximately 3 years of experience in business systems analysis, program management, and/or administrative services.
• A work ethic of dependability through punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability to perform as an efficient, detail-oriented team player.
• Demonstrated experience with current systems analysis principles, methods, procedures, practices, tools and techniques and project management principles.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with displayed levels of knowledge, skills and responsibilities.
• Achievement-oriented, excellent computer, communication, analytical and problem solving skills, specializing in process improvement.
• Experience with implementing and integrating to an Enterprise Content Management solution would be beneficial.
