Job Summary

We are looking for an inside sales professional to play a significant role in driving the growth of an innovative company with a proven product. The Business Development Consultant will conduct research and prospect potential customers to help generate qualified sales leads. This position involves internet research, networking, cold-calling and investigative skills. The position would offer a base salary as well as an aggressive commission structure within a growing company.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Learn, understand and demonstrate knowledge of current programs and services
  • Develop creative selling strategies
  • Utilize strategy and approved techniques to obtain competitive information and conduct prospecting activities
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers
  • Achieve weekly sales goals through cold calling and other prospecting activities
  • Turn data into sales leads for Business Development Executive
  • Prepare appropriate documentation in CRM Database for Business Development Executive to follow up on leads generated
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 2 plus year's relevant work experience
  • Proven sales track record having consistently surpassed quotas in a fast-paced, quota driven environment
  • Analytical, organizational and planning skills for forecasting, pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales process of sales strategy development, relationship building, contract negotiation and deal closings
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Outstanding relationship management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Stable work history required

  • The base salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00, plus variable bonuses and commissions. If targets are met, the total annual earnings potential for this position can exceed $100K.
