Job Summary

The Clinical Network Provider Requests Specialist (Remote option available) is responsible for quickly identifying, recruiting, and contracting with mental health providers on an ad-hoc basis due to the special requests and/or needs of our clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ability to exercise independent judgement when utilizing clinical skills and experience to assess client’s immediate needs to best partner them with providers.
  • Apply clinical perspective to assist with completion of Short Term Disability requests to ensure appropriate care and treatment
  • Negotiate rates, confirm required credentials, and finalize contracts for immediate access to care for a patient
  • Work closely with ComPsych's clinical team to ensure a successful experience for the client
  • Secure appointments with behavioral health providers with clients that require immediate clinical attention
  • Identify and recruit EAP and behavioral health providers for ad hoc contracting and possible participation in ComPsych's professional provider network

Job Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree with clinical experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional business experience in healthcare or clinical; preference in similar role related to benefits or insurance.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Quick thinking, high energy, positive, and professional, with demonstrated problem solving, multi-tasking as well as critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including follow-up.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to meet daily production expectations.
