Job Summary

ComPsych offers a comprehensive solution to help our customers address the requests for leaves of absence under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Our ADA leave administration enables our clients to comply with the ADA and the requirement to reasonably accommodate leave requests related to disabilities.

 

As an In-house ADA Legal Consultant, known internally as an ADA Coach, you will take a consultative approach and guide our customers through all relevant ADA legal and compliance guidance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide legal consultation to clients on current ADA standards and guidance
  • Guide clients through ADA Administration process
  • Prepare and review of client-ready documents
  • Recommend changes in policies and procedures to meet ADA legal requirements
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively in order to ensure client satisfaction
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work autonomously
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Manage clients’ expectations of ComPsych’s services
  • Act as a leader and a point of contact to the ADA/FMLA Team for assistance
  • Understand and comply with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Juris doctor from accredited law school is required
  • 2+ years of experience with the ADA or general employment law
  • 2+ years of law firm or related experience is a plus
  • Professional attitude with a strong sense of discretion to keep sensitive information secure and private
  • Knowledge of application of federal, state and local government laws and regulations with regard to the ADA
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, draw conclusions, and present data and other information in a clear and logical manner
  • Ability to maintain strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience analyzing and solving business concerns and objectives
