Our GuidanceResources Unit telephonically assists thousands of callers each week, providing personalized guidance on issues regarding behavioral and emotional health, family, wellness, or other personal matters. As a Health Coach in the Health and Wellness unit, you will telephonically consult with clients on topics such as diet, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Conduct personalized consultations with each client
• Identify and provide appropriate resources for clients' presenting issues
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of cases and metrics in our proprietary database
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the product portfolio (including EAP, managed care, and work-life programs) and makes appropriate cross-referrals
• Educate clients about services, eligibility and referral processes with a positive and professional approach 
• Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and responds to all inquiries in a timely manner
• Demonstrate ComPsych's strong client focus and promise to over-deliver on customer expectations
• Structure the coaching sessions, assesses the clients readiness to change and establishes targeted goals to achieve a high level of participant satisfaction and results
• Positively and professionally educate clients about the coaching process and the value of the wellness services available to them
• Participate in the development of client education materials
• Participate in the ideation and development of program enhancements and demonstrates the ability to effectively manage and complete assigned projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred in a related field such as Nutrition, Exercise Science, or Health Science. 
• 1-2 years related experience required
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday 10:00a – 6:30p CST
• Superior active listening and coaching skills and a demonstrated ability to be empathetic to client concerns
• Certifications in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Certified Health Education Specialist, Smoking Cessation, Wellness Coach, or Nutritionist
• Outstanding customer service skills
